League Structure
What we call "Napa Little League" (NLL) is made up of two separate leagues (Napa American, Napa National) run by a common board of directors. NLL is chartered with Little League International (LLI), and has been since 1984. NLL is a California registered not-for-profit corporation. The exact boundaries we can draw players from are set by the Little League California District 53 Administrator. NLL boundaries include the Lake Berryessa communities to the east, the county line to the west, the Yountville LL boundary to the north (roughly at Oak Knoll Ave), and the American Canyon West Vallejo LL boundary to the south. The northern boundary also includes players in the upper Dry Creek Rd. and Mt. Veeder area. Napa American players reside on the west side of Highway 29, while Napa National players reside on the east side of the highway. (There are a few exceptions allowed under Little League rules.) We have two seasons: Spring, which runs from February through mid June, and Fall, which runs from mid August through early October.
